10th Moscow International Navigation Forum was Held in Russia

(Beidou Network News) From May 11 to 12, 2016, the 10th Moscow International Navigation Forum was held in Moscow, Russia. China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO) was invited to attend the forum. Zhang Chunling (chief engineer) made a special report entitled "Beidou System Status Update" at the plenary session of the forum, and introduced the latest progresses of Beidou system construction, application and international cooperation.

Moscow International Navigation Forum was hosted by the Russian GLONASS/GNSS forum, and supported by the Russian National Aerospace Group (formerly Russian Space Agency). It is the largest and the highest level of satellite navigation professional forum, holding the navigation technology exhibition in the same period. This year is the 10th anniversary of the forum. More than 1500 people from nearly 500 companies of the whole Russian satellite navigation field attended the forum. During this forum, China Satellite Navigation Office met with the Russian National Aerospace Group, and exchange ideas on related issues of the China-Russia cooperation in satellite navigation.
